Recommendations:
1. The Advisors in ASUU work laterally; they each have areas of expertise (programming, communications, finance, etc.) but then, collaboratively, provide guidance to the student leaders. The Advisors should continue to collaborate with one another because it truly creates an open office climate.
2. The students of the Presenter's Office work really hard to program for students! They, however, sometimes fall short assessing their events. I recommend that they start utilizing ID Card swiping technology to better understand which students are attending their events.
3. The current student leaders have created a number of new programs to promote diversity and inclusion on campus yet sometimes an attitude of inclusion is not always present in the ASUU office. Each year student leaders should be trained in diversity topics, including inclusive language, micro-aggressions and white privilege.
